Perth Bears Launch Official Podcast – With Your Chance To Name It!

Presented by award-winning journalist, broadcaster and NRL fanatic Oliver Peterson, the Perth Bears official podcast, brought to you by Cash Converters, has arrived.

Kicking things off with the Immortal himself, Head Coach Mal Meninga, we invite you to name our podcast*.

Mal’s already thrown ‘The Big Bear Podcast‘ into the ring! Do you have a name that captures the spirit of the club even better? We want to hear it.

Our top three will go to a vote over on our Instagram page this Friday afternoon (23/01) – so make sure you are following us to cast your vote. *Perth Bears Podcast Naming Competition – Terms & Conditions

    1. Promoter: Perth Bears Ltd (ABN: 88 686 848 242) of Western Australia (Promoter).
    2. Eligibility; Open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. The Promoter may verify eligibility at any time.
    3. Competition Period: Opens 2.00pm (WST) Wednesday 21 January and closes 12.00pm (WST) Friday 23 January. Late or inaccessible entries will not be accepted.
    4. Entry Method: Entries must be submitted by commenting on the designated Perth Bears official podcast video on YouTube during the Competition Period. Entries submitted via any other method will not be valid.
    5. Intellectual Property & Moral Rights: By submitting an entry, entrants irrevocably:
      • warrant the entry is original and does not infringe any third-party rights; 
      • assign all intellectual property rights in the submitted name to the Promoter, worldwide and in perpetuity; 
      • consent to any act or omission by the Promoter that would otherwise infringe moral rights; and 
      • waive any right to compensation, attribution or future claim. 
    6. Shortlisting & Voting: The Promoter will shortlist three (3) entries. Public voting will occur via Perth Bears Instagram Stories from 2.00pm (WST) Friday 23 January.
    7. Final Determination: The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion:
      • validate or exclude votes; 
      • disregard results affected by manipulation or technical error; and 
      • determine the final podcast name regardless of voting outcome. 

      All decisions are final. 

    8. No Prize: This competition offers no prize or benefit.
    9. Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability arising from participation in the competition.
    10. Governing Law: Western Australia.
