Friday 7 and Saturday 8 August 2026 marked a huge milestone for the Perth Bears, with the launch of our inaugural Home Jersey, Head Coach Mal Meninga and Bears mascot Kodi leading our first Bear Walk and the final NRL game at HBF Park before it becomes the Bear Pit.

“It was great to see so many fans at the Bear Walk wearing our inaugural jersey.
“We’ve always said we want this to be a family club with deep ties to the community and that was certainly on show.
“HBF Park is now ours and I know you will help us turn it into the ‘Bear Pit’ where opposition teams fear to play in 2027.”
