ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT TO BECOME A PERTH BEARS FOUNDATION MEMBER

Perth Bears fans have only one more week to cement their place in the club’s history by becoming a Foundation Member.

Foundation members get priority access to purchase 2027 match access memberships before they become available to the general public.

Due to overwhelming demand and with a record-breaking 18,000 people already signed up as Foundation Members; the unprecedented sales mean the club is confident that every single home match at HBF Park next year will be a sellout.

Perth Bears CEO Anthony De Ceglie said the opportunity to buy a Foundation Membership will only be open for one more week for those who don’t want to miss out on early priority access to buy ticketed memberships for the inaugural season.

“We have been absolutely blown away by the record-breaking sales and we’re enormously grateful for the love and support,” he said.

“We’ve had double the number of fans buy a Foundation Membership as we had planned and we’re now close to the point where HBF Park simply won’t have the capacity to fit all our members in.

“We feel it’s only fair to give everyone one more week to get in fast before this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become a Perth Bears Foundation Member closes.

“It’s simply incredibly to think we had budgeted to hit 10,000 Foundation Members by the end of this NRL season and we’re now having to close them off after hitting 18,000 in just a few weeks. We hit the 10,000 mark in just 24-hours.”

The Foundation Membership, priced at $79, also offers fans a limited-edition member pack including a digital wallet member card, personalised membership card and lanyard, key ring and bumper sticker.

They will get recognition within the Perth Bears high-performance facility too.

Eighty-five per cent of fans who have so far bought a Perth Bears Foundation Membership are from Western Australia.

The top-five suburbs represented in order have been Baldivis, Ellenbrook, Alkimos, Byford and Rockingham.

Perth Bears General Manager of Commercial Katie Roberts said a range of further memberships offerings from specific ticketed options like family packages or FIFO packages as well as non-ticketed options like a digital supporter membership will be released this year.

“At 18,000 members we’re already ahead of several NRL clubs in our supporter base without playing a game of footy,” she said.

“We’re confident of getting to 30,000 members before Round One next year, which would make the Perth Bears a top five club for memberships in the NRL.”

Foundation Memberships will officially close at 1pm WST on Tuesday, June 23. Fans will have the opportunity to secure tickets to individual home games, with a limited allocation of match tickets to be released via Ticketmaster from early January.
